GENERAL RULES
- ALWAYS treat your firearm as if it is loaded
- ALWAYS point your firearm down range
- ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
- ALWAYS be aware of your target and what lies beyond and in between it.
- ALWAYS wear eye and ear protection
- NO uncased firearms outside of your shooting lane
- DO NOT load your firearm outside of your shooting lane
- DO NOT reach beyond the firing line
- DO NOT shoot the floor, ceiling, walls, or any range equipment; all rounds must impact the backstop
- DO NOT use tracer, steel core bullets or steel shot; see associate for a complete list of banned ammo
- DO NOT draw from a holster and fire
- NO rapid-fire, bump, or slide-fire devices
- NO fully-automatic fire
- Maximum of 3 shooters per lane
- ALWAYS use ammo purchased from Range 42 in rental firearms
- You may pick up your own brass; all other shell casings must be swept past the firing line
- NO instructing on Range 42's range, unless you are a certified Workman Firearms Instructor
- NO pregnant women on the range
- NO alcohol, illegal drugs, or any other form of impairment while on Range 42 property
- NO food or drink on the range
- NO smoking or smokeless tobacco in the store or on the range
- We recommend washing your hands after using the range
AGE RESTRICTIONS
- Must be 18 or older to use the range unaccompanied
- Minors (below 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and be at least 48” tall
- All shooters above 18 must possess a valid state-issued ID or US passport
- Must be 21 or older to possess or rent a handgun
- Must be 18 or older to possess or rent a long-gun
