About Range 42

Range 42 is a veteran-owned indoor shooting range and gun store serving Northeast Ohio from two locations — Brunswick (Medina County) and Norton (Summit County). Founded by Marine veteran Glen Workman, Range 42 was built on a simple belief: every responsible gun owner deserves a safe, professional, and welcoming place to shoot, train, and buy firearms.

Our Story

Glen Workman served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps, including two deployments to the Middle East. His last two years were spent as a weapons instructor with the 1st Marine Division — teaching Marines how to shoot, move, and fight. After his service, Glen worked in executive protection and corporate security before turning his military training expertise into a business that serves the civilian community.

Range 42 Brunswick opened in December 2018. Range 42 Norton followed in January 2020. The name "42" comes from the answer to the ultimate question — because when it comes to personal safety, firearms training is the answer.
